Resizing Engines: Power Saving and Yield Increase
The vast majority of engines manufactured today, are oversized, not working at its best efficiency (75% to 100%), in addition, is power factor, which should be as close to 1, ends up being far below and thereby returns reactive power to the line. Therefore, with the necessary modifications, we seek a power saving and an improvement in engine performace. In our project, we seek to optimize and resize an engine, reusing your energy spare. For this will essentially extend in a rear axle motor (equal to the front), and coupling a small generator (dynamo) to be connected to a battery and in turn is connected to a lamp. For monitoring will install a voltmeter and an ammeter at the generator output. This will only be applied to fixed speed motors, with few interruptions throughot the day. For this equipment is feasible and can control its mechanical energy input, put a pot to adjust your drag weight, so we can more precisely regulate the motor current limit, so doing the same work with 100% of their chare (specified on your plate).
